A Saab for the Senses

There’s something rather special about being in a Saab convertible, you feel connected to the world outside. When the hood’s down you get to smell the freshness of trees, smokiness of open log fires and the early morning cool mists of Spring. You get to see endless skies, birds flying above and city buildings, all whilst basking in the warming sun. When it’s windy and raining, the hood protects you, but you still sense every gust of wind, every drop of rain.

We all have our favourite ’Saab’ roads, long routes that extend our driving time, I often choose a route to and from work that takes me off the usual commuter roads. Through open countryside and picturesque villages, endless skies and dramatic moments in time, a valley filled with early morning mist, shrouding fields and trees…

…A Saab for the senses.

  1. I’d love to have a convertible to go alongside my 9-3 Aero but, as the wife doesn’t drive and the kids have left home, I’m going to have to win the lottery to justify having two cars.
