NOS

Three letters that bring a smile to the face of any hardcore Saab fan; NOS or New Old Stock. An absolute joy to discover, especially when it describes an original Saab 9-5 SID unit. Brand new, never fitted with unmarked buttons and perfect pixels.

I know it might not seem much to most people, but small pleasures are sometimes the best ones. As it becomes harder to find certain parts for cars that are 20+ years old, and from a lost manufacturer, it brings me a lot of pleasure to find them. It can be anything from a badge to an owner's manual, a door handle to a head unit, it really doesn't matter, the joy is still the same.

My NOS SID arrived today, and from the beaten up box to the unmarked, original label, it brought a smile to both me and my Saab.
