Although we’ve been renovating our current home for the past 3 years now, the garage has been low on the list of priorities. We initially had all of the 18th century brickwork and beams blasted to allow the space to breathe correctly like an old building should, but past that, nothing has been done.

Due to my constant hoarding of Saabs and various parts, it was becoming a bit of a danger zone, even just to get the cars in safely, so a few days off work has allowed me the time to sort through, and clear the space up a bit.

I always wanted to create a bit of a ‘man cave’ somewhere to enjoy the cars, and have it feel more homely than a regular garage, it’s a long way from being that, but with it’s clean floors, beautiful brickwork, beams and hi bay lighting, it’s getting there.

I have a number of sets of Saab wheels, including a few recently refurbished Hirsch, and wanted them kept neatly away from other clutter, so have fastened a series of brackets to allow me to store and display at the same time. Sitting above the 9000 Aero and it’s garage partner, they looked so fantastic, I thought I’d share the beginnings of my garage.
