It's true, for the past month or so, I’ve been a bit preoccupied with the 9-5 Sportwagon project and then the new, old 9-3 arriving, so the Graphite Green Aero has been a little neglected.
I'd excitedly fitted the new BlueSaab Bluetooth unit, so before taking it out for a playlist blast, I thought I’d treat this gorgeous Saab to few hours of pampering and a good clean to get rid of the recent grime and salt from the dirty Winter roads.
I am, of course, utterly biased when it comes to Saabs, especially the older 9-5, but I can't help being amazed at just how well they stand up against modern day alternatives. I'm not a huge fan of overly fussy aesthetics, endless angles and confused lighting, but I still feel this generation 9-5 easily hold their own against arguably far more prestigious cars, I take my own alternatives as examples; the Mercedes S500 and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S for instance, both stunning, but do they make me smile as much as the Saab 9-5, not really.
